Apprriill March 2020Upon arrival you see the beautiful surroundings in which the accommodation is located. Very friendly staff when checking in. The room, although old decor, was a lovely big size.. we had 4 of us staying. One big sized bedroom with two beds and then the other two beds were in the open lounge area. We had a cute little kitchen, fully equipped with what we needed. It has a microwave and an oven and a hob. It’s very close to the local supermarket. We had a balcony facing the mountains!

This apartment is in the next building from the First gondola, which makes it an awesome location! You can also clearly hear all of the lift operations, so don't expect to sleep in..not a problem at all for us tho.The shower was really good, and the water is always super hot in Switzerland! We made the mistake of thinking we could use the washer/dryer as was the case in previous locations..that's a big no-no, so make sure you check first! For the price and location I highly recommend this!

The apartment is well equipped for 2 people and was very clean and comfortable and had a wonderful view of the mountains. We were made very welcome. The road up to Grindelwald is quite steep in places and I found it convenient to leave my skis and boots at a ski depot close to the bus and railway station.

Close to Firstbahn gondola lift to that extensive ski area. Roomy and well appointed apartment. Friendly local office nearby. Great holiday.
