Sandra July 2019This apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed. The kitchen had plenty of everything, including two types of coffee maker. The balcony was large with a nice view of the Jungfrau, only partially blocked. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of closet space and hangers. There was a half-bath in addition to the full bath. The kitchen table was large with a bench on two sides. It was fairly close to the city center, although you would want to be fit enough to handle the steep uphill.

Only negative is that it is two blocks from the train station, but not disclosed is that those two blocks are almost straight down an (intermediate) slope hill, and walking up every day is a test in the AM. Many people from other homes near us hired taxi's the day of departure to go two blocks - with the luggage. WiFi was great.

We enjoy our 3 nights and 4 days stay at Wengen in this spacious, modern furnished apartment unit, and fully equipped with all the gadgets you might need. Interhome Wengen office provided us with detail arrival direction and departure checklist which helped us enormously specially during our late night checkin. The location is centrally located with easy access to everything at Wengen. The mountain view from the balcony is very nice and make you appreciate this magical village, you can start your Lauterbrunnen hiking trial from the door or catch the train for sightseeing just a few minutes walk. The apartment was very comfortable and 2nd half washroom is extremely helpful. It was a great and memorable stay. Interhome office provided timely response to all our requests which helped us to adjust our trip plan to deal with unpredictable weather conditions, definitely want to be back for a longer stay than the 3 nights we had this time.
