Small, idyllic, picturesque mountain village 4 km from lake, 5 km from Żywiec, 20 km from Szczyrk, 30 km from Wadowice. Beskid Zywiecki is situated between 2 rivers, the Sola and Skawa and is one of the highest mountains in Poland. The town of Rychwald is known for its timber architecture and is the oldest town in the mountain region. There is a manor house 2 km away with restaurant, cafe, swimming pool and tennis court. Good starting point for excursions: Zywiec, Oswiecim (35 km), Wadowice (parental home of Jan Pawel II), Krakow (85 km).
