45 km east of Varkaus. Lake Iso-Rummukka 20 m (length 7 km, breadth 1 km), shallow and deep water. Jetty and own boat. Log cabin 1992, living room/kitchen with 1 extra bed, 2 bedrooms with double beds in each, dressing room, washroom, sauna (electric sauna stove), toilet, open veranda. Traditional log cottage on a sunny plot. The big lawn has a lot of space for playing. Good fishing possibilities and berry picking forest areas (during that season) are just around the corner. Heinävesi 13 km, Kerman kosket, where rapid fishing possibily (requires special licence) 20 km, Karvion kanava (water channel) 26 km, Valamo ja Lintula monasteries 36 km, Varkaus 37 km, Kolovesi nationalpark 39 km, Spa Vesileppis, where also skiing tube 41 km, Joensuu 94 km, Kuopio 95 km, Imatra 206 km, Helsinki 353 km.

“Disney Family Fun Made Easy! We absolutely loved our stay at this Solara Resort property (townhome 6279)—it was everything described and more, and the location couldn't be better (just minutes from Disney World). The open first-floor layout was a dream—huge kitchen, cozy family room, spacious dining area, and easy pool access—perfect for gathering as a family (and sneaking snacks in between park days). Our granddaughter was over the moon about the Moana-themed bedroom, and the Star Wars room had the adults geeking out too! With two king suites (one upstairs, one downstairs), a queen, two sets of twins, and even a pull-out couch, the house can easily and comfortably fit a crew of 10–12. We had the perfect balance of together time and quiet space when needed. Extras that made our stay even better: -Parking right out front (so convenient!) -Kitchen amply stocked with plates, pots/pans, utensils -Plenty of TVs with cable + smart options -Ice-cold AC (lifesaver after Florida sun!) -Well maintained property with excellent communication from the property manager Our family had a fantastic time here and felt completely at home. Highly recommend for anyone wanting comfort, fun, and a magical base for their Disney adventure!”
